Psalm 41:1-3 “Blessed are those who have regard for the weak;
the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. The Lord protects and preserves them they are counted among the blessed in the land he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The Lordsustains them on their sick bed and restores them from their bed of illness.”

Powerful three verses that reveal how the Lord Jesus puts a blessing upon a person. Not just any person: A person who has regard for the weak or the poor people. Such a person is special to the Lord Jesus. He takes note of such a person. For we all know how the poor and the weak are exploited. In many cases they are abused, ill-treated and discriminated upon.

 Many rich, powerful and those with influence look down on these people.  Now the Bible teaches that if any person will do something for these people God himself will bless such a person. And such people are not many.

 If you will care today to make a difference in the life of a weak or poor person, there are these promises for you. What are these promises:

1. He will deliver you in the time of trouble.

2. You will be protected by the Lord

3. He will preserve your life

4. Bless you in the land

5. Protect you from your enemies

6. You will be strengthened on your sickbed by the Lord.

Do you really have regard for the vulnerable, weak and poor people? May God help us in our land to do just that so that our land will be healed. Bless you.
